To improve the quality of life in our community by helping to prevent drug manufacturing, sales, overdose and death through education and support groups for both the addict and the addicts family. We would like to provide HOPE to those who are hurting and have treatment options in our area readily available

I first came to the Hope Center just to support my daughter. But GOD, through the Hope Center gave me so much more. More with people, the incredible power of their testimonies, and the endless grace of GOD! The Hope Center is a refuge where a person can be just who GOD made them to be. A place where we can share our struggles, and victories. Our valleys, and our mountain tops. We're all in life together. We're all messed up, and in desperate need of a Savior. We can only have peace, and freedom through Jesus, and the Hope Center is a place to share our life with others whether it be good times or bad. When we share our life with others, and can lean on one another without judgement. Then we find freedom, and can be healed. The Hope Center is a place where a person can do this. I know because it has greatly impacted my life, and taught me to love people with more compassion, and understanding! James 5:16

When asked what The HOPE Center of Baker County means to me it brought me back to the first day that I walked in the door in May 2021.
I was received with care and compassion. That same compassion and love is there today. I have met the most beautiful people, those who volunteer and most importantly every new comer who walks through the door. After attending all groups to help me on my personal journey of recovery, I became a volunteer. I am an alcoholic. With the help of some precious others we held the first AA meeting on March 2, 2022 and today we have 2 AA meetings a week. I give God the glory. It is in Gods strength we receive the ability to keep moving forward. The pressure is reduced when we realize we are not alone. I encourage anyone who is struggling with any type of addiction or has a loved one who is struggling with addiction to let your guard down and walk through the door. Let’s get rid of the stigma. It will make a difference.
There are different groups being held Monday thru Friday. Alone I can’t together we can! I personally want to thank each of you for the support and encouragement I have received and continue to. Thank you to all who support “The Hope Center of Baker County”.

It was early March of 2023 and I found myself fresh out of rehab. Scared, stressed and worried about how I was gonna stay sober. I kept driving pass this place everyday wondering if I should walk in then one Tuesday night around 7pm I did. Miss Deb met me immediately with open arms and no judgment. She walked me through that door with tears, rolling down my face and introduced me to Mrs. Amber. I remember sitting at the table just crying and listening because I didn't even know if I was in the right place. Truly did not want to accept that I was an addict and I needed a safe place like the Hope Center. My 1st Tuesday meeting changed my mind very fast and I found myself showing up more and more. Meeting so many new friends and hearing incredible Testimonies just made me want to work harder for my sobriety. So thankful I walked through that door because of the hope center I'm still sober a year later.
"Freedom night will light up your life"
